About me
"Change" is my middle name.
With a technical foundation – training as a machine fitter and a degree in mechanical engineering – I laid the foundation for my professional career early on. The combination of practice and theory still shapes me today: I am just as comfortable on the shop floor as I am at management level.
My second passion is cycling. On the bike as in interim management, it’s about endurance, the right use of strength and tactics – and working together as a team to achieve the goal.
Since 2007, I have been supporting companies as an interim manager in critical change situations – focused on manufacturing, logistics, construction, quality, digitization, restructuring and cultural change. Whether it’s restoring delivery capability, increasing efficiency, implementing digital processes or setting up new structures – I deliver results that have an impact. Over 25 successful mandates in a wide range of industries and company sizes speak for themselves.

Personal
Cycling: A passion for long distances. And sprints.
What cycling and interim management have in common
Cycling is about endurance, quick decisions and tactics. Sometimes it takes a long breath and perseverance – sometimes decisive action and clear leadership. You have to know when it is wiser to conserve your strength and when you have to get to the top to set the pace and set the direction.
It’s the same in interim management: Some mandates are a mountain stage – tough, challenging. Perseverance and endurance are required here. Other projects are like a sprint: quick decisions, sporty implementation, immediate effect. And as in cycling, it always depends on the right strategy – an overview of the goal, the competition, the route.
Success is never achieved on your own: What counts is the interaction in the team, the feeling for dynamics and the ability to take others with you. Whether on the bike or in the company: I always have the finish line in sight – efficient, strategic and as a team player.
